In addition to my pet portraits, I also draw and paint my niece and nephews regularly and you will have seen my "Back of the Net" Giclee print that is currently available in a limited edition. More recently I have started to draw my little hive of Bumble Bee's, you can see some of the originals are the bottom of the page, I will bee :-) adding more original bees shortly and then they too will be available to buy as prints, well thats the plan anyway…..
I also love abstract art and often introduce the shapes and colours that surround me in my everyday life, into my work. I hope to add more of my work to this site soon. I spend a lot of time with my own little dog Scruffy who I rescued ten years ago. He's around thirteen or fourteen now and he's the very cute scruffy fella pictured up above. Although I have a BA(Hons) in Art, I only discovered my love of drawing animals when I drew Scruffy for the first time. I am an animal lover and have been known to chat away to my portraits as they evolve, I fall in love with each and every one of them and I genuinely miss them when they are finished. October 2024; Ossie is now five and totally spoiled, he and I are still drawing and enjoying it more every day. I still think of Scruffy a lot, they never really leave you.
